Introduction
At The Cat Butler we believe great businesses start with strong foundations. That is why every new The Cat Butler cat sitting franchise owner begins their journey with hands-on induction training at our HQ.
Last week was a special one for our team. Over three energising days, we welcomed seven new franchisees for induction training, making this our largest cohort to date.
Before arriving, each new franchisee had already spent time shadowing an established The Cat Butler franchisee. This gave them valuable real-world insight into what delivering our premium service looks like day to day, and meant they arrived ready to dive straight in.
Welcoming our biggest franchise cohort yet, seven new The Cat Butler business owners at HQ
Day 1: Brand and Operations
The first day focused on the heart of The Cat Butler brand.
We explored our values, standards and what exceptional service really looks like, alongside the full client journey and the operational processes that protect our premium reputation.
Getting this right from the beginning is essential. Our franchisees are not just starting a business. They are becoming trusted guardians of our brand and the experience our clients expect.
Day 2: Marketing and Commercial Strategy
Day two focused on the commercial side of building a successful The Cat Butler territory.
Our new franchisees heard directly from one of our most commercially successful franchise owners, gaining real insight into what works in practice. Together we explored launch planning, local brand awareness activities and the numbers that support a successful and sustainable business.
From the very start, we encourage franchisees to think not just as operators, but as business owners with long-term growth in mind.
Days 1 and 2 of training focused on brand standards, the client journey, and the marketing and commercial foundations needed to build a successful The Cat Butler territory
Day 3: Cat First Aid
Because the well-being of cats is always our priority, the final day focused on Cat First Aid training.
This equips our franchisees with the knowledge and confidence to respond calmly and professionally should any situation arise. It is another way we ensure our clients can trust that their cats are always in safe, capable hands.

Support That Continues Beyond Training
Induction training may last three days, but support at The Cat Butler does not stop there.
Our franchisees receive ongoing guidance before launch, during launch and throughout the life of their business. As they grow, we grow. It is a partnership built for the long term.
As The Cat Butler continues to expand, we have also strengthened and refined our recruitment and training process. Every stage is designed to give new franchisees clarity, confidence and momentum from day one.
Seeing seven new The Cat Butler business owners leave HQ ready to launch their territories was a proud moment for the whole team, and an exciting step forward for our growing cat sitting franchise network.
