Introduction

When you choose The Cat Butler to care for your feline friend, you can forget about the hassle of cattery drop-offs and collections eating into your holiday time. There’s no stressful car journey for your cat, no need for extra vaccinations, and no risk of them being exposed to common feline illnesses such as fleas, ticks or worms.

Our service takes place entirely in your home, so your cat doesn’t even need to step outside. As every cat owner knows, cats love their routine and feel safest in their own territory. By caring for them at home, we avoid the stress of unfamiliar surroundings and keep your cat relaxed and content where they belong.

With a Cat Butler based in Waltham Cross, Cheshunt and Broxbourne, you can expect a fully vetted, DBS-checked and insured cat sitter who truly loves cats. Our service is dedicated exclusively to feline care; we don’t look after dogs or other animals. That means your cat won’t be unsettled by unfamiliar scents, and will be looked after by someone who understands cats and their unique personalities. All of our sitters are cat owners themselves, so your pet will be cared for by a genuine cat lover while you’re away.

A cat sitting service that offers more

We do far more than simply pop in to feed your cat. We spend quality time with them, offering plenty of fuss, playtime if they’re feeling sociable, and a reassuring presence while you’re away. For more reserved cats, we take things at their pace, making sure they feel safe and comfortable even if they prefer a little distance.

Our sitters are trained in pet first aid and can administer medications or injections if required. We also keep your cat’s space clean and tidy by washing food bowls, refreshing litter trays and tidying up any little mishaps so their home remains a calm and happy environment.

Every cat is different, so we tailor our visits to suit your cat’s individual needs. We can visit once or twice a day and there’s no additional charge for weekend visits. Our service runs 365 days a year, and we can often help even at short notice.

Keeping your home safe while you’re away

Alongside caring for your cat, we also provide a complimentary home care and security service. While you’re away we can open and close curtains, switch lights on and off, bring in post and parcels, and take your bins out and back in again.

We’re also happy to water indoor and patio plants, saving you the trouble of asking friends or neighbours to help out. All of this is included as part of our service at no extra cost.

To give you complete peace of mind, we’ll keep in touch with updates by WhatsApp, text or email, often including photos and videos of your cat during our visits. All visits are GPS-tracked, so you can see when your Cat Butler has been and how long they spent with your cat.

If your return journey is delayed, simply let us know and we’ll continue the visits until you’re safely back home.

Going away soon?

When you need our services, simply get in touch with your local Cat Butler covering Waltham Cross, Cheshunt and Broxbourne. We’ll arrange a consultation to learn all about your cat (their personality, routine, likes and dislikes) so we can create the perfect care plan.

You’ll then be introduced to your Cat Butler, who will visit you and your cat beforehand. This gives you both the chance to get acquainted and allows you to show them where food, litter and other supplies are kept, as well as talk through your cat’s routine and any home security checks.

To find out more about The Cat Butler in Waltham Cross, Cheshunt and Broxbourne, or to make a booking, please get in touch today; we’d be delighted to help care for your cat while you’re away.
