Helen Mulloy explores her journey, detailing the anticipation before and experiences during her successful first year as a franchisee at The Cat Butler in Wirral and Cheshire West.
Helen said:
"Some of my former colleagues were a little surprised and concerned when I announced I was leaving the teaching profession after 26 years to run my own cat sitting franchise and I must admit I shared some of their concerns and thought I would need to do some supply teaching to supplement my income. However, a year on and those worries are not confounded.
"I have served and cared for kitties of all breeds, non-breeds, ages, shapes and sizes and loved every minute of it. My understanding of cats and cat behaviour grows all the time.
"My first year in business has exceeded all my expectations. My franchise is thriving, and I am struggling to keep up with demand. It’s a nice problem to have. New enquiries are flooding in due to our now established reputation for excellence.
"On that note, I would like to acknowledge and say thank you to all the cat parents who have trusted their cats to my care and I am particularly grateful to everyone who has left a review as the reviews give others the confidence to pick up the phone or make an enquiry.
"I am excited to see what the next 12 months bring. One thing is for sure - we are expanding so we can provide the outstanding service for which we are now known to more and more kitties and their parents in the Wirral and Cheshire West area."
