Since July 10th, Sam has already cared for around 50 cats and is currently seeing a steady influx of new enquiries for the October half term, the festive season, as well as ski season!
“I really didn’t know what to expect when I launched in the school summer holidays,” explains Sam. “It has been an amazing start to my business launch, and the awareness really seems to be widespread which proves the initial marketing rollout has worked!”
She added: “I’m really proud that The Cat Butler Thame is serving kitties in so many new areas already including my hometown of Thame, Chinnor, Tetsworth, Great Milton, Watlington, Wallingford, Aylesbury, Wendover, Piddington, and Haddenham, to name but a few - it’s been incredible!”
With enquiries on the rise, Sam has made the decision to recruit early by taking on two new recruits, Charlotte Wilson, and Andrew (Andy) Heggie (Sam’s husband). Both are now fully signed up and have already undertaken all the required training with Sam.
“It’s great to have Charlotte and Andy on board as it looks like we’re going to be busy with the number of enquiries I’m seeing on a regular basis. I’m really looking forward to working with them both and increasing our client base so we can care for even more cats.”
Sam will be hoping to take on further recruits in the future, so if are local to Buckinghamshire or the South & East Oxfordshire area (please visit the Locations section of our website for specific areas Sam covers), and are interested in taking on a cat sitting role with The Cat Butler, please send an email to Sam in the first instance introducing yourself to: Thame@thecatbutler.co.uk.
