The Cat Butler is an exclusive cat sitting service and a stress-free alternative to a traditional cattery.
Our Cat Butlers visit their clients' home once or twice a day to care for their cat/s while they are away.
Working hours are flexible, and cat care assignments can fit around other commitments.
The Role
- You will be required to visit our feline customers in their homes while their owners are away
- Clients may request one or two visits a day or more. The duration of an assignment could be from a few days to a few weeks
- The visits include feeding, watering, grooming, litter changing (if required), administering medication (if required), playing and interacting with the cats, and keeping your clients updated while they’re away
- There may also be additional duties such as watering plants, putting out/taking in bins, picking up the post & deliveries, etc
- We will insure you to carry out each cat sitting assignment and give you full training and support
Requirements
- You must live in or around Oxford
- You must be a cat owner or have experience working with cats (such as an ex-veterinary nurse/cattery or animal shelter worker)
- You need to have access to e-mail and have a smartphone
- You must have your own vehicle with a UK drivers license
- Ability to organise bookings and keep in contact with clients
- You must be willing to work weekends and during school and bank holidays, and during peak times such as Christmas and the Summer school holidays
- We require a clear DBS check (criminal background) before we can offer you any assignments
- Due to the nature and hours of cat sitting, you must not be in full-time work or education
