Great communication from Phil before , during and after taking care of our Cats Dolly and Dexter who loved him. I definitely recommend Phil for his care and attention to our cats and for leaving the cat areas super clean and tidy . I will be using Phil the Cat Butler again soon . Thank you Phil.

We were called to work abroad for a few days in early June 2024 and stumbled across The Cat Butler Rossendale while reluctantly googling cattery services. The idea of having our little pack of Maine coons cooped up in unfamiliar surroundings really didn't appeal to us, so we were delighted to discover that they could stay on their own turf and be visited daily by someone who cares as much as we do.
Phil Carter is a kind hearted, cat-loving guy who came to visit a few days before we went away in order to meet and get a sense of the personalities of our four little furballs. They warmed to him immediately and, over the course of our working holiday we were kept updated with daily texts, photos and videos from each visit. I can honestly say that our trip would have been for more stressful without Phil's exceptional service.
We will most definitely be contacting The Cat Butler Rossendale again in the future, and can't wait to see this business expand in the way we know it will as more people become aware of it. If you've got a pet that deserves better than a cattery, you absolutely won't be disappointed.

Phil provided an incredible service looking after our cat, Rafa, for a week whilst we were on holiday. He visited twice a day as promised, and stayed at least 30 mins each time. We did have to pay a small additional mileage fee per visit as our postcode was outside of his usual area, but it was well worth it for the care that Rafa received. He spent lots of time with Rafa and was constantly thinking of ways to keep him busy in between visits. Rafa is usually quite sociable but doesn’t usually allow anybody to pick him up except me and my husband. However, Phil had managed it a few visits in so he was getting regular cuddles too.
Phil sent regular pictures and videos to us by whatsapp (at our request) which really reassured us. He is more than happy to do any other things around the house too (open/close curtains, turn lights on/off, take out rubbish etc). He sent a video on the final visit of a full walkaround of the house and checked in with us to ensure all our travel plans were going to plan to get home. We’ll definitely be using the service again and would recommend it to anybody.

The Cat Butler service has been a revelation. Our 2 boys don't do well in cattery and we needed to find a better arrangement. Contacted Phil and asked if he was able to help. He was very prompt in replying and sorting out the dates we needed. Upon meeting him I was immediately confident that he would be able to manage the boys medication and general arrangements. More importantly I was more than comfortable handing over the keys to the house and that security would be maintained.
Fast forward to the completion of the first booking and we were delighted with the service. The visits were at the same time each day and we got photos of the boys and updates on the house.
Very happy with the service and already looking ahead to book for later in the year. Highly recommended.
